As usual - I cannot post something 'wordless'I really wish this photo was in better shape, unfortunately I'm not familiar with photo restoration. This was taken in Rockville Maryland, 1947. At first I thought they must be playing street hockey of some kind... but isn't that a golf club? I guess it's all they had.
What an interesting photo. One of the first things I noticed was the poor condition of the road that crossed the railroad tracks and the old warehouse building to the right. Probably a fascinating place for young boys to make mischief.
